Make sure the length of the post is correct.
Didn't look closely enough. There are two different lengths of posts. I bought the longer one and used bolt cutters to shorten it. Still works, just would have been easier with the correct part.

Be sure before you purchase!
It states it is not universal. Do not ignore this. The length of the rod for the knob was way too long compared to the one we were trying to replace. Unfortunately, the other parameters seemed to match, so we ordered it to find out it was not the correct replacement. Only wish there had been a bit more info about the part to make a better choice as to whether or not it was an acceptable replacement.
