Bought it for my husband he loves it

Would never order from you again. Item is good, but tryin to send it back or trying to TALK to someone is impossible.

The hubby finally opened this after receiving for Christmas upon opening the large pot was dented. The large lid was bent, one of the clips was installed crooked, and the gaskets leak. Needless to say I’ll be asking for a refund.

Gr8 little still well built makes good whisky

Well, I purchased the product because it said that the fermenter had a heavy duty bottom on it, well it doesn’t. It is no thicker than my water bath canner. The hoses were/are soiled, that is okay because it is easily fixed with some cleaning. I didn’t take everything out, their are some small pieces (gaskets and o rings and such) that I didn’t want to lose. There are some burrs on the connecting valves on the lid, but don’t anticipate to much problem, a file can fix it. My husband already fixed one of the ball valves that was not working, easy fix, placed handle on correctly and tighten nut over washer and it works. The handles and the securing latches on the fermenter are just stamped on not screwed or riveted on the pot. I am going to use this for essential oils and maybe for some water bathing large canning jars, it is deep enough to use.I will not let it go to waste, just thought it would be better workmanship, guess not. I am a beginner at this and so I will start out with what I have and try like the dickens to not burn anything. There was not an instruction manual, just basic set up and how to take care of what I would call, common sense things on a folded pamphlet.

Not worth the money. The lid on the thumper leaks . Two of the four fittings leak. If I new it was made in china I would of passed on this item
