LavaLockSelf Stick BBQ gasket Grey High Temp Smoker Gasket Charcoal Grill Seal - Factory Shorts (10 ft x 1/4 x 1/2w Self Stick, Grey High Temp)

Have a great charcoal grill/smoker, but maintaining the temperature was a pain due to the incorrect fitting of the lid, causing smoke to escape. This was carefully applied to the bottom edges of the lid and it worked like a dream! Can now easily maintain consistent temps for smoking and grilling! Only issue is you have to cut separate strips for the back, front & both sides as the gasket itself doesn't bend 90 degrees for corners without compromising the seal. Other than that, this has saved me several hundred $ as I was thinking about having to get a new smoker! I have a leaky electric smoker as well, so have ordered another roll for that!

The adhesive on the LavaLock gasket is excellent and hasn't budged after make cooking sessions. The main doors on Camp Chef pellet smokers are notorious for leaks, and this stuff really helps. Just make sure you use a ruler or tape measure to accurately gauge the thickness you'll need to close the gaps. 1/8" really isn't as thick as you think once it's placed down. I should have went for 1/4" instead. Nice thing is, the rolls are long enough to put gasket on the lid and the edges of the chamber where it shuts.

Purchased a 10' roll to seal up my 24" Camp Chef pellet grill lid. Initially I thought the adhesive would not last, But after letting it sit for 24hrs and a cook cycle. Felt gasket feels like it wont be going anywhere, the heat made the adhesive bond securely.. No more smoke and heat coming from my lid gap on my Camp Chef, All grills should have this from the factory.. Happy cooking and Smoking..

Wasn't quite thick enough to fill all the gaps on my Camp Chef pellet grill, so I had to put a layer on both sides (outside of grill body and inside of grill door). Using it on both sides meant I didn't have enough, so I had to order a second roll to finish the job. Works great now that it's in place though!

Used this to seal the door for my Traeger pellet smoker. It worked exactly how I wanted it to work. Sealed the door right up and adds a nice softer touch when closing the lid now. I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to seal up some smoke leaks they don't like. Super easy to install. Just need a strong pair of scissors/shears.

I bought this to seal the gap between my large Green Egg smoke stack and a home made flu pipe I fitted. It has stood the test of time and is much more economical to buy that the name brand products, which are virtually the same felt tape. Save yourselves some money and buy this.

It does the job to help seal the smoker. Could be a little thicker.

Getting the paper off the sticky backing was impossible on some sections of the roll. Ended up having to throw out some. Should have had enough to go around 2 times but now I won't. Maybe I just got a bad roll
