I'm not a professional, many of the functions are beyond my expertise, but I did want an accurate measurement of AC &DC voltage, current, resistance etc. I went to use my old multimeter and realised how old-fashioned it was. Even though I didn't doubt its accuracy, an analogue display is inevitably less precise that digital. The AstroAI measured well against the alternatives that I consider. I've found that it's easy to use, and gives me clear, concise measurements. It's well made, the controls are precise, and it comes with good quality leads. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

It is quality case which I can easily recommend. It is a very good fit with a bit room left for leads and such.

It’s a great multimeter and has a lot of helpful functions. The component tester is very useful, I had to measure a lot of capacitors I had lying around so being able to swap them in and out with no fuss was great. The holes in it are very tight though.

Really good product easy to use can’t fault it

Product quality is quite good and is sized correctly for the AstroAI TRMS6000 however I remain disappointed with it, principally due to the misleading product photography.The photos suggest the multimeter sits flush with the top edge of the lower part of the case whereas in fact there is a 2.5 cm or so gap. Most of the time I’d use the multimeter while in the case but the extra depth makes this a bit awkward (esp. with my fat fingers!). Yes, maybe I should have paid more attention to the photo with the dimensions marked on it and, yes, I could add some foam padding to ‘lift’ the multimeter forward but why would I when the written description and photos suggest a perfect fit (it isn’t).Furthermore, the photos show there is a clip on the ‘handstrap’ and so it can be removed if not wanted (I do not want). But the case that was supplied to me has a permanent handstrap stitched on the case.So overall, very disappointed and would return were it not I’ve just realised I’ve missed the boat on that one as the returns window has just closed.Not happy!

I have the multimeter this case is sold for, but it's not a very snug fit.That said, stuck a bit of foam behind it and all is well.
