This product wasn't wrapped at all and had no protective seal. I thought very seriously about getting rid of it as soon as I got it. Against my thoughts, I didn't though, and tried it twice. The smell was ok but left me worrying about its safety. I am very sensitive and tend to have reactions easily due to this. Personally I will not order this again and only used it twice before getting rid of it due to worrying. I would not recommend it at this time but do hope that they think of adding to it to keep this sort of thing from happening. I can not be the only person who is sensitive to certain things. That also makes any products look very unprofessional.

If you're a curly girl, this is not the shampoo for you. It is not moisturizing at all. I've given it a few chances, and it left my hair dry and matted in the shower. Let's not even talk about the companion conditioner. It left my hair with no slip. I don't know what it was supposed to be conditioning, but it certainly was not my hair. These products are a definite pass for this curly girl.

I love this product! I have that menopause hair. My hair has become VERY dry and brittle since "the change". I don't use any heat or damaging products on my hair and it should look much healthier that it does. I feel like this product is working in my favor. My hair seems to be on the mend. Definitely more moisturized and shiny since i started uaing the product. It does have a STRONG pine smell. I love the smell but could see how it may be a turn off to some. I use alot of woodsy essential oils that work well to tone down the pine. The scent of pine lasts all day which I kind of love..

I have 4C hair and found this to be very drying. This would probably work nicely on other hair types. I'll stick with Carole's Daughter Black Vanilla shampoo.

I’ve been on the hunt for a shampoo/conditioner combo that is moisturizing enough for natural curly hair. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy, and instead leaves a nice clean feel with lots of shine and moisture.

I have naturally pin-straight, coarse Asian hair and an oily scalp. This shampoo is perfect for my hair type since many shampoos with natural ingredients aren't strong enough to clean my hair just by a single wash. It is drying, but I always do a deep condition after a wash, so it doesn't bother me. It doesn't have a strong scent either, which I like. It leaves me feeling refresh for at least two days after a single wash. I'd say it is almost like a deep cleanse, and it could be drying depending on how oily your scalp is.

I bought this from a TOK recommendation and it was amazing! But...then the second time (same exact product/scent/type/size/brand), it smelled like yellow mustard and gave me dandruff. The QC is clearly not paying attention. I don't think it's work the risk to try again.

I had an overprocess mishap with bleach. As result, my hair was dry and frizzy. This shampoo is very creamy, rich and moisturizing. It cleanses very well, has a nice scent. I notice a positive difference after 2 weeks.
