4 star for not the sharpest cut
I had to reduce by a star because no matter what I do, the cuts aren’t very clean and sharp. I bought these as an aid in caring for my orchids, since if and when I cut something, I need sharp and clean cuts as the plant aerial roots and stem are spongy material. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I got a super sharp pair as they seem to mash the plant material upon a cut. I have yet to see if the stem will grow as the plant is in a dormant stage, but my concern is that the stem tissue was mashed and won’t regrow. I shall see. These are very easy to clean, and the leathering piece to keep the shears from opening all the time is a benefit. I do wish these had come with a plastic storage case, but you can’t win them all.

Great clippers for flowers
Awesome for cutting flowers and nothing else. Definitely a hand saver for all those wonderful flowers!

FEMALE HANDS, HARD TO CLEAN, BASIC CLIPPING
These are good for the basic cutting and feel heavy duty, will not fall apart in 1 day, like the last 2 pairs I bought from the store.I clean my pruners/snips after trimming herbs and plants so I don’t contaminate other plants. These pruner/snips don’t clean very well even with serious scrubbing. I’m not sure if that’s a problem or not for cross contamination.Having very small hands, these pruners feel like they are made for medium sized female hands and are NOT overwhelming uncomfortable to hold! YEA!There is a non-elastic loop made of pleather at the bottom of the handles to hold the pruner blades together. The pleather doesn’t stretch much and seems pretty thick. Hopefully it doesn’t get dry rotted, brittle and tear.If you intent to do finer work, I would not suggest these. The tips are not pointed enough and the thickness of the blades don’t taper making it hard to get in close to do the tiny work.

Great product, great value.
Purchased a half dozen of these for my winery for harvest season to replace ARS shears. They are almost identical to the ARS brand at half the price and they were here in 2 days! My only complaint is that the spring is very springy! Not a bad thing, and I'm sure they will break in a little. Don't forget to clean and oil after using to avoid rust.

Highly recommended.
The first time you wrap your fingers around it you know it's a quality product. The blades are sharp, the spring and grips are solid. The pointed ends allow reaching to a precise point where you want to cut. I think this is the best pair of snippers I've ever owned. I've only had them a few weeks but in that time I've made a hundred or so snips of lettuce, tomatoes, basil and cilantro. I enjoy the quality and ease of each cut.A key feature that doesn't show is the leather closing strap at the end of the handle that allows for storage with blades closed.I can't comment on durability as I've only had the shears for a short time, but I do love the feel of them in my hand, the sharpness and precision of the blades, the grip, and the very reasonable price I paid.I received no incentive for my review.

Not very sharp and blades tarnished quickly.
I bought these pruning shears just for flower arranging but they’re not super sharp so I sometimes struggled with the thicker stems. This surprised me as I thought pruning shears would need to cope with the much thicker stems than flowers!

Great little pruners.
Prompt delivery, good value. These are very nice for pruning and dead heading. Very comfortable to use. I have arthritic hands so they are easy for me to use.

Good action, decent quality
Easy to use, cut well. Have only used them for a few weeks so we'll see how they hold up. Have been trying to find a good pair of shears with a dependable closing mechanism. The strap that holds these shears closed is a small loop of leather at the bottom of the handles (not shown in photo). Wonder how long this will last. Happy with purchase so far.
