4into1 Universal Motorcycle Fork Boot Set

Works perfectly on Apollo DB 36-250cc
I use this on a Apollo db36 250 motorcycle that has inverted forks. I made a wooden box to support the underneath of the frame so the front tire was about 2 to 3 inches off the ground. Put a towel over the tank. Remove handlebars. Remove front wheel. Use a 15/16 combination wrench or socket to loosen top cap a couple of turns. Use hex wrench to loosen fork clamps one side at a time. Remove fork tube one at a time.Remove top cap drain into measuring cup. Massage fork tube in and out to ensure all oil is removed. My bike is brand new. Had 75 mL of oil. Refill with Bel-Ray 7wt oil or equivalent. Use no more than 80 to 90 ml. Initially I tried 150 ml and forks only went down 2 in after installation. Renders shock useless. Put caps back on. Apply some lube to fork tube around cap and to inside of rubber boot. stretch out small end of boot and start sliding down fork tube. It's tight but manageable. I put stock fork tube protector plastic pieces back on for extra protection. These Boots work perfectly. Clean oil from fork tube soap and water. Put everything back together.

Nice, pliable rubber and fit great
I have an ‘81 kawasaki kz750 with Tarozzi fork brace. These fit well over both the brace and the forks. They were a touch long, so I trimmed the bottom skirt. I also punched a small hole in the top rib to let the gaiters breathe and not get sucked together and sit crooked. The dime city cycles lasted less than a year before cracking and eventually crumbling a year after that, despite spending 90% of their life out of the sun. I’m hoping these last longer.Only issue is the clear zip ties and worm gear clamps. Would rather have black zip ties, but they were clearly listed so that’s my own personal issue.

not great
The fitment on xs650 is good. But the rubber is a very dull industrial-looking black, not the dark gloss in the photo. After installing, one of them warped in a weird way and now the ribs on that one are asymmetrical and look really sloppy. Maybe something I did wrong (?) but the other gaiter stayed in shape just fine, so I don't know. Either way, I now have one fork that looks alright and one that looks pretty ratchet. Kind of a bummer.

Work
Great product once you drill some holes in it. Do so before install underneath the top somewhere. Otherwise there is to much suction.

Good price good product
Worked well for my application a 1976 Honda xl350. Maybe a tad short but that’s no fault of the product.

Perfectly fine
Not heavy duty but not cheesy. With clamps and zip ties. You might consider a vent hole, or maybe not. Good price, quick delivery.
