DashSalt-Free Seasoning Blend, Original, 2.5 Ounce

We purchase this for our daughter to make recipes for our family. She much prefers mrs. Dash taco seasoning to some others that she has tried. The bonus is the flavor os great and the sodium is extinct. We are all in favor of all aspects of this mrs. Dash product and many others.

Absolutely delicious tasting seasoning without all the sodium content. I would have never have known that sodium was missing from this product because it tastes just like sodium is one of the ingredients. The blend of this product is delicious, the size is perfect for the price, and it's extremely easy to use.

It’s a great substitute if you can’t have salt. It spices things up without salt being used. Really good taste!

This makes an adequate batch of tacos. The container seems to have about enough for 3 batches of tacos (1lb ground beef per batch) when made according to the directions.The flavor was decent. Not excellent, not terrible. I followed the directions on the package to get a baseline. Next time, I will add extra chili powder and cayenne because I didn't feel like there was quite enough oomph, but the taco flavor was certainly there.On the other hand, there was no sodium, which is a hard find. This will fill that gaping void in your hear (and stomach) when you want tacos but can't handle the salt. If you've been there, you know what I mean. (Completely unrelated - I have found that CORN tortillas have almost no sodium, as opposed to FLOUR tortillas which are full of sodium. Corn is not as easy to work with, but is adequate.)I will be buying more, hopefully in a bulk package.

Sodium is out of control in almost all processed foods and snacks. It is naturally present in many fresh fruits and vegetables! If you want or need to control sodium in your diet, this is good substitute for cooked meals. Obviously it's not intended for baking nor would I recommend it on fruits like watermelon or apples. Season your soups, casseroles, and side dishes with Mrs. Dash instead of the salt shaker.

I switched from my normal taco seasoning to dash about 4 months ago and my family hasn't noticed. It's a low sodium option with the same taste. I mix it in with ground beef or chicken just like I would when cooking with any other taco mix and haven't had any issues.

Delicious no- sodium Mexican spice mix. Use it exclusively after my husband had a heart attack last year. Makes delicious tacos and can use as a rub.
